1. The importance of eye contact and the part it plays in attraction
A greatly overlooked part of attracting women is eye contact. As you may well be aware talking makes up for only about 7% of human communication. The remaining 93% of our communication to other people is through body language and eye contact is a very large part of this.
So visualize for a moment it’s a Saturday evening and you’re in your favourite bar or night-club. You see a gorgeous chick across the other side of the bar that you would love to speak to. You want her to spot you, right? So, this is where the eye contact flirting game starts. Look her in the eye and wait for her eyes to meet yours.
2. What it says about you
For most guys, the most common reaction for them when a attractive girl meets their gaze is to look away. Warning! Do not do this! If you break eye contact as soon as she looks at you and in particular if you look down at the floor, this will signal to her that you are a man of low status. This is not attractive to women. They are attracted to men of higher status than them i.e. a confident man who is popular and has a large social circle, a man who has a high status position (e.g. doctor, lawyer), a man who is rich. These are some simple examples but what I am saying in simplest terms is that by looking away you are communicating that you have little value and therefore will not be of interest to her.
On the flip side, if you can hold strong eye contact you will communicate that you are an assured man who is open to meeting her and who will not be intimidated by her. This is the first step to igniting attraction.
3. What it says about her
So, let’s envision that she meets your gaze and maintains eye contact with you. What does that say about her? By choosing to hold your gaze she is communicating that she is taking in the view and is totally fine with you looking at her. This suggests that she, herself has a level of self-confidence, which is an attractive quality in a woman. Or she may be communicating that she gives in to your dominance and lack of self-conciousness which in itself is very powerful! Whichever way, you’re on to a winner!
4. Eye contact tips
Remember when making eye contact, to gaze at her and not stare! Staring is for stalkers! So, when you make eye contact with her, hold it for maybe 1 and a half to 2 seconds and then either smirk or arch your eyebrow. If she follows suit then bang! It’s on!
As you approach her, look her in the eye and smile. When she smiles back say “Hey, what are you smiling about?” As the conversation flows, sustain a good level of eye contact but shift your gaze. Look in one eye then the other, let your eyes wander to her nose and her lips and then return to the eyes. This will all build up the level of attraction. This is the secret to eye contact attraction
