Women have an extra sense when it comes to how men behave, because most men behave act the same way no matter what dating site they tend to be associated with. Below is a list of DO’s and DO NOTS to assist in keeping the women as members on these dating sites without scaring them off and best of all to help men get a higher response rate.
1) This is something that a lot of men are guilty of doing. I understand that it is way easier that having to be original but this is a good rule of thumb to follow. DO NOT copy and paste 25 of the exact same message and it them to the first group of women that cross you path on the dating site. Women see right through this and it will not work in your favor, trust me. Have you ever thought to yourself, “Grrrrrrr, Why aren’t I getting anyone to reply to me”? Well that may be one of your main issues. DO send a personalized email with thought behind the actual text; mention something about HER so that she knows that this email is for her and no one else. If you remember this one simple fact then you will understand how you can get a response. And this one fact is, women get 1000 emails a day from all sorts of guys. Compare the online dating email process to a job hunting process; if your resume has nothing that makes it stand out then you will not get a reply. In the same sense if your email has no heart then more than likely you will be over-looked.
2) DO spell check your email, women in most cases will be reluctant to reply to an email with many errors reason being, it shows laziness. If you won’t even take the time to spell check your “sincere words” then it can be interpreted that you are not taking this seriously and that you are being lazy or worse – she may think you are just plain stupid. The same thing goes for grammar, please for proper sentences and DO NOT deliver sentences like this “oh you luk good whats up wit us”. Put effort into your thoughts and make sure that you get it right the first time.
3) DO NOT select a member name that may have a sexual implication (unless of course you are on a site that may call for a name such as an adult dating site). Women typically like a cool man that displays some sort of tact and in my opinion a name like 69_ALLnight may show the women that you are looking for just a night of fun. In most cases you might want to choose a name that is a little wittier.
4) PLEASE DO NOT contact single women in any way if you happen to be married. Not only is it an insult to the her but it is a waste of her time, especially WHEN she finds out that you lead another life. DO read their profile prior to contacting them to see if they might be interested in dating a married man.
5) DO NOT lie. DO NOT bend the truth. DO NOT fib. I don’t think there is anymore that has to be said about this subject.
6) DO NOT send women pictures of anything that would be consider dirty in other words NO private part pictures. If a woman wants to see anything that you have to offer trust me she will hint at it, ask you, or tell you and in that case I guess it’s ok. DO send women a presentable picture that may show your funny side or how smooth you are.
